Sustainability
7-star energy rating
Energy-efficient residences are more comfortable to live in, cost less to heat and cool, and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Zero-carbon building (no gas)
A harvesting system will collect and store rainwater. This water is used for toilet flushing and landscape irrigation, minimising the need for potable water and conserving precious resources.
Grid-connected solar PV panels
The solar panels on each dwelling will generate electricity and reduce power costs.
Sustainably-sourced materials with low VOCs
The use of sustainably sourced materials has a low environmental impact. Paints and surface finishes have low off-gassing properties.
North-facing balconies
These are designed for warmth in winter months, reducing heating costs and promoting health and wellbeing.
Glazing oriented to avoid west-facing glass
The intelligent design of each townhome reduces heat gain and cooling costs.
Electric induction cooktops
The selected cooktops are superior to gas and extremely easy to keep clean.

Architecture
The living spaces are surrounded by expansive windows and wide outlooks, awash with natural light. A neutral palette and engineered oak timber floorboards flow throughout the open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas, increasing the sense of space and creating a natural gathering place. The kitchen is at the heart of each townhome, where practicality and storage meet streamlined design. Light-coloured engineered stone benchtops and splashback are set against a contrasting dark timber grain laminate.
Private Entrances
The arrival experience is via a secure gate and a dedicated pedestrian-only pathway framed by a verdant walkway, with each front door clearly defined. Stepping inside, the traditional entry hall has been updated to feature a cupboard for coats and shoes and direct access to the lock-up garage or stairs to the floor above. Here, living areas are seamlessly connected to private balconies with green outlooks over the arbour.
“The architectural philosophy behind Prime was simply to express the enduring qualities of a home. The design is seamlessly functional, promoting wellbeing and health through a connection with the outdoors, low energy use, zero carbon appliances and sustainable materials. The interiors are full of light, with abundant natural ventilation and high voids over the stairs connecting each level. Textural, warm and welcoming; ultimately the architecture is about creating a place that is a pleasure to live in.” Gonzalo Ascui Director of Ascui & Co Architects
